Millimeter Mini 12 Sailboat

I attached 3 images of a Mini I am considering, including one with me inside, trying it on for size (6'3"). These pictures were from the boatyard. I am concerned about the concept of tacking the mast assembly down with two bolts through the deck. I definitely want to see what is under that assembly, and check out the sails.
